Tholis Consulting is founded by Jos van Dongen, a seasoned Business Intelligence professional and well known author and presenter. The focus of Tholis is on implementing BI solutions from start to finish. This is achieved by making the technology, process and people choices that fit your organization and ambition, and by helping you during every step of the implementation process. Since a completely self supporting organization is the ultimate goal of any project, training end users, developers and system administrators is an integral part of any solution. I strongly believe that Open Source software offers a viable alternative to often expensive commercial BI tools and therefore should at least be part of any evaluation or selection process.

Jos is the author and co-author of over 20 magazine articles and three books: Pentaho Solutions and Pentaho Kettle Solutions, and the Dutch book 'Low cost, high value?' which covers the open source BI market.
